Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are your hours of operation? 

A: Monday-Friday, 10am to 6pm EST, (Appointment Only)

Saturday, 10am to 3pm EST, (Appointment Only)

Sundays, (Closed)

All Major Holidays, (Closed)

Note: Appointments are necessary due to child's school times and appointments.

Remember to contact us before coming, all appointments must be scheduled. You are welcome to schedule appointments for the same day, within an hour, if necessary. But contact us first, before coming. We may not be in the office at the time, but we are very flexible. 

 

Q: Can you ship items to my P.O. Box? 

A1: No, we must ship all firearms and frames an authorized Federal Firearms Licensee/ Gun shop or Pawn Shop who deals with firearms. 

A2: Yes, we can ship non-firearms parts and accessories to a P.O. Box, Home Address or Office Address within the United States. 

 

Q: Can you deliver items to my office or home? 

A: We do not deliver anywhere. 

 

Q: Can you ship firearms to my home address? 

A: No. Firearms must be delivered to an authorized Federal Firearms Dealer, Gun shop, Gun store, or Pawn Shop that deals with firearms. 

 

Q: What happens after I have placed an order? 

A: After we have received your order on-line, your payment is processed automatically just like all other companies. If you are purchasing some non-firearm products, they will be shipped within 3 days. If you are purchasing a firearm to be shipped, it will be shipped within 3-5 days and if you are purchasing a firearm to be build. That may take a bit longer, due to manufacturer shipping times, build time, fitting and testing. After the firearm has been tested and verified, it will be shipped to your FFL of your choosing. 

When your order is shipped, you will receive a text message and an email with tracking information. 

 

Q: If I’m experiencing some issues with checking out. What can I do? 

A: Refresh your browser and try again. After several attempts, with no results, feel free to contact us @ Laudmandynamics@gmail.com (Anytime) or call 240-273-5318 (10:00am – 7:00pm, M-F and 10:00am – 5:00pm Sat and Sun). If you can’t reach us, please leave us a text message and we will address your question or concern by the next day. 

 

Q: Do you accept walk-ins? 

A: Yes. We definitely accept walk-ins. We work out of an office suite, so please call, text or email before coming by. We can accept walk-ins, but if we do not know you are coming by or parked outside, we will not be expecting you. 

 

Q: Do you accept local pickups, so I can come and pick up my order? 

A: Yes. Just schedule an appointment to pick up the items you ordered online with us, via phone call, text message or email. 

 

Q: What if my Laudman Dynamics product arrives damaged? What can be done?

A: If your item is damaged when you receive it, you must report the damaged item to us within 48 hours of getting your item. If you receive your item on a Friday, you must contact us by the end of business the following Tuesday. Please read our return policy. We will assist you as best we can. 

 

Q: What if items are missing from my order when it arrives? 

A: We triple check all orders we ship. If you order an item or a list of items, you will receive every item you ordered.

 

Q: What is your return policy? 

A: Our return policy has its own page. Please go to our return policy page. 

 

Q: How soon do you process refunds? 

A: We process returns within 48 hours. Please allow 7-10 days before you see your refund posted back to your credit card/ bank account, depending on your bank.

Q: How much will the refund be? 

A: The core amount of your order and taxes, minus shipping fees (if shipped) and a 10% restock fee.

Q: Do you have a minimum order quantity?  

A: No, but please remember, multiple firearm projects may take longer to build, verify, fit and test.

 

Q: Can I order over the phone? 

A: Yes, but if you give us your payment info over the phone, it may take a bit longer to process, because I may not be in my office or at my computer at the time. But please feel free to call or use our website. 

Please, DO NOT text or email any payment information to due cyber security risks.

Q: How will I know when my order has shipped? 

A: You will receive an email directly from us with your tracking number.

Q: How do I track my order? Where is my tracking number? 

A: Once you place an order, depending on the items or firearms you ordered, it may take a day to ship or longer. We will ship your item by USPS or UPS. We will send you a separate email containing the tracking number and estimated date of delivery.

 

Q: If you want to order a firearm from another vender and use Laudman Dynamics for my transfer, what is your process? 

A: 1. You may call, email or text us with your full name, the vender’s business name and the firearm you ordered. If you have the vender's business number, this will be greatly appreciated, but not needed. 

​

2. As long as you have the vender's business name, we will call them to get the ball rolling. 

​

If the vender says, “We need you to send us your transferee’s FFL.”, Don’t worry. We will contact them and send this directly to them.  

​

3. Once we contacted them and verified the order, we will send them a copy of our FFL. Once the order has been placed, they will contact you directly via email and send you the tracking number.

 

Companies never send us any track numbers. Please text or email the tracking number to us, that way we can track your order and contact you once it’s in our hands. At that time, we will schedule a transfer appointment with you.

Note: All rifles and shotguns have a one-day transfer process. Handguns, AR-Pistols and frames, both pistol and AR lowers all have a 7 to 9 day waiting period. Sometimes it takes up to 9 days, depending on the MSP processing times.

Q: I live in ______ (What State). Where can I go to purchase your firearms and other items you offer?  

A: Our website is www.laud123.com 

 

Q: Can you ship to other gun friendly states? 

A: Customers are responsible for following their local rules and regulations on all purchases. Please discuss the purchase as well as all the details with us before ordering. It is your responsibility to be familiar with your current local gun laws BEFORE placing your order. As we are not located in your state, we may not have the most current information on your regulations. Some states may have purchase restrictions.  

 

Q: If I order a restricted item and later find out that I cannot have it delivered, what should I do?  

A1: If you contact us, before we ship it. We will refund the charge and restock the item, no charge to you.  

 

A2: If we have already shipped the item, the receiving shop may contact us about the item and if changes can be made, we will discuss this with them. This may incur extra changes, if we must send the extra parts or they may charge you for the extra parts on their end. 

 

A3: If we have already shipped the item, the receiving shop may contact us about the item and if changes cannot be made, they will return the firearm directly to us. We will contact you with the details, discuss the return charges that you will be required to give us and a mandatory 10% restocking free. These costs will be subtracted from your refund. 

 

Q: While I’m conducting a transfer with you, and my background check comes back “Delayed”, what does that mean.  

A1: That means the transfer process stops, and the firearm remains in our possession. Some delayed background checks may take several days. If the background check passed, we will contact you to continue the transfer. 

​

A2: If the background check comes back “Denied”, the firearm remains in our possession, and you will be asked to leave. If you paid online, we will refund you 100% of your payment. 

​

A3: If the background check comes back “Denied”, the firearm remains in our possession, and you will be asked to leave. If we are in-office, no payment will be made, so no refunds are necessary. 

 

Q: The item I would like to purchase is out of stock, can I place a back order to reserve it? 

A: Yes. Must of our firearm are built to order, so the website may indicate “Out of Stock”, but that’s for the purpose of reservations. So, please feel free to place an order regardless of status. 

 

Q: Can you do any custom work for products? 

A: Yes, we do offer custom work. Contact us for details. We do not offer Cerakote. See next question for more details.

Q: Do you offer Cerakote?

A: No, but we do work with numerous companies and manufacturers who Cerakote and provide many Cerakote options for Uppers, Lower Receivers, Handguards for AR-15s, AR-10s, AR-9s, AR-45s, and Glock Frames 

 

Q: Do you ship items outside of the USA? 

A: Only to Hawaii and Alaska. No overseas or other country orders, period. 

 

Q: How do I remove items, change items, or change quantities on my order? 

A: If you cannot go back and make any changes, please contact us and we will make adjustments for you. 

 

Q: I never received my order, and the shipping carrier has marked it as “delivered”.

A: Please contact the carrier. Let us know, so we can contact them as well and resolve the issue. 

 

Q: If my package is damaged. What should I do?

A: If there seems to be damage to the packaging that might have happened during transit, take a photo of all damaged items and the package it was shipped and submit it to us, via email.  See our Shipping and Return Policies page for more details.​

 

Q: My order was returned back to sender. How do I move forward? 

A1: If we receive your returned order, we will contact the forwarding shop to get details on why it was returned. If this was a restricted item, you will receive a refund, minus 10%.

A2: If the forwarding shop does not have a valid reason for returning the item, you must choose a different forwarding shop, and we will attempt another shipment.  

 

Q: What is your Return Policy? 

A: Feel free to visit our Return Policy section and carefully read it thoroughly. 

 

Q: What are your Transfer Policies? 

A1: We can transfer all rifles, shotguns and handguns. 

​

A2: AR-pistols can be requested for a build/ manufacture upon advice and request. Once we have received the approval licensing from the ATF, we will be allowed to transfer and manufacture Short-Barreled Rifles (SBRs). 

  

A3: We will not transfer nor build any Silencers/ Suppressors or Short-barreled Shotguns, at this time. We can build/ manufacture AR pistols upon request. Once we are approved with the official ATF licensing, we can build a Short Barrel Rifle with the proper paperwork. 

 

Q: Can I swap an item from my order to a different item? 

A: Yes and No. We are not able to edit an order after it has been placed. Nevertheless, before your order ships, we can assist you with swapping an item, removing or increasing the quality. Remember, there will be a price increase or decrease, depending on the item(s) you swapped, increased or removed.

 

Q: Can I add something to my order? 

A: Yes, we can make changes to an order after it has been placed. You can also place a separate order, or we can cancel your current order, so you can reorder the item(s) you want. To cancel your order, please contact us via phone, text, email or contact us form that can be located on our website.

Q: How can I cancel my order? 

A: If you’d like to cancel an order, you can use the ‘Cancel Order’ button on your order details page. To access order details, log into your account and select order from recent orders. If you still need assistance, contact us and we can manually cancel it for you.

​

If you cancel within 24 hours, you will receive a full refund. If you wait 2 or 3 days, you will receive a refund of the core amount of your order and taxes, a 10% restock fee.

Q: Can you ship a pistol lower receiver or frame to California? 

A: Unfortunately, since the pistol lower receiver or frame is not on the California approved handgun roster, it is not compliant in California. We cannot ship a pistol lower receiver or frames to California. Here is a list of other states we will not ship any firearm to, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. 

 

Q: Can you ship a rifle lower receiver to California? 

A: Unfortunately, since the rifle lower receiver is not on the California approved rifle roster, it is not compliant in California. We cannot ship a rifle lower receiver to California. Here is a list of other states we will not ship any firearm to, California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. 

 

Q: Can you ship a shotgun to California? 

A: Unfortunately, since shotguns are not on the California approved handgun roster, it is not compliant in California. Here is a list of other states we will not ship any firearm to; California, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. 

 

Q: Why can't I reset my password? 

A: Your login and password process are driven by Google, just do the password reset tab and it should send the instructions back to your original email. Just follow the instructions and your password should reset with ease. If this still doesn’t work, contact us. We can assist you with that. 

 

Q: What does FFL mean? 

A: FFL stands for "Federal Firearms License". This is issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF) BATF to those who deal in firearms, and it is illegal to deal in firearms without an FFL. 

 

Q: What is an FFL?

A: A Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) is an individual or a business entity that has obtained a license from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATF). This license grants dealer's legal authorization to engage in the commercial sale, manufacture, or importation of firearms and ammunition. It is illegal to deal in firearms without an FFL. 

 

Q: Are there any restrictions on magazines? 

A: There are no restrictions on magazines at the Federal level. All restrictions fall on state laws. There are some state specific laws restricting the capacity of a magazine. Maryland is one of those states. Magazines that are sold in Maryland have a capacity of 10 rounds or less. Contact us for more details.  

 

Q: Is my information kept private? 

A: All personal information provided to Laudman Dynamics is kept private and is never provided to any third parties or outside organization, unless it is dealing with your order. The shipping gun shop may ask for your name just to verify your order. Unless you don’t want your goods, we will assist them with any information they need to ship your order to me.  

 

Saying that, we will not use your name for advertising, nor will we give your information to any outside vender or manufacturer, without your permission. 

 

Q: Are you authorized to release my personal information to any Maryland State or Federal Law Enforcement Agency? 

A1: We are definitely authorized to release any information about any customer that is required by any Maryland State or Federal Law Enforcement Agency. This is not bound by any privacy act or law.  

If the Maryland State Police or ATF contacts me to obtain your information that may help in their investigation, we will not go to jail or be fined for you. We are definitely giving that information up. 

 

Q: What are your Transfer Fees?  

A: Our transfer fees are $35 for long guns to include shotguns and $45 for handguns/ pistols, revolvers, AR lower receivers and frames. Each transfer fee is per firearm.  For multiple firearm transfers, see our transfer Policies for more details. 

  

Q: Do you off a Pay Off or Lay-a-Way Program? 

A: Our Pay Off policy is offered to clients within the United States, only. With this program, you can pay off any firearm in 90 days. This policy only applies to in-stock items, not from an outside merchant. 

   

Q: What are your Return Policies for Delay, Pending, or Denied Background Checks? 

A: During the Nics Background Checks that will be conducted and processed during all firearm transfers, if a customer's background comes back with other than "Proceed", i.e., Delay or Pending. The firearm transfer will immediately stop, and the firearm will remain in our possession until it clears and reads "Proceed". Once it clears, the customer will be contacted, and the process will continue.  

  

If the Nics Background comes back "Denied", the customer will be contacted, and we will discuss returning the firearm back to the original manufacturer. Also, the customer will be charged the return shipping fee. Return shipping fees may vary.
