What is an .338 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge)?

The .338 ARC (Advanced Rifle Cartridge) is a new cartridge designed for use in an AR-15 platform and micro-bolt action/ AR bolt-action rifles, making it ideal for both tactical operations and hunting mid-sized game. It's capable of both supersonic and subsonic loads. The 338 ARC is designed for use in AR15s, short bolt-action rifles and AR-Pistols. 
 
Intended Uses: 

For Hunting: The .338 ARC is a quiet, powerful solution for hunting mid-size game, like deer and elk.

For Military and Law Enforcement: The .338 ARC can be effective in tactical operations where discretion is important.

Barrel Length:

The .338 ARC is available in a variety of barrel lengths, including 8.5 in, 10.5 in, 12.5 in, 14.5 in, 16 in, and potentially 20 in.  

 

Energy:

The .338 ARC delivers 1.5 times more energy than the .300 Blackout Subsonic cartridge. 
 

Twist Rate:

The 1:8" twist rate stabilizes both supersonic and subsonic bullets. 
 

Recoil:

With low recoil can be used for hunting mid-sized game within 200 to 250 yards.
